Over the years I have had the privilege and challenge of participating in P.R. (Public Relations) events of different kinds- from live television to outdoor performances, and even meet-and-greets with fans in full theatrical costume.
Some events are planned out for weeks, some the result of a last minute call. They are all different beats to the same rhythm- meant to create the buzz and attract the audience. Though most people usually do not regard it as ‘real work’- it is an integral part of any show production and is a performance skill in its own right.
